What is Physio-led Pilates?

Physio-led Pilates is a form of low impact activity which strengthens the whole body. With a large emphasis on breathing it helps to improve core stability, postural alignment and flexibility, thereby helping you to move more efficiently.

Expect movements to be slow and precise, to improve body awareness and to learn the concept of control. Pilates is beneficial as part of a well rounded fitness plan and can compliment other areas of fitness to improve performance, injury prevention and promote injury / pain rehabilitation.

Our 1:1 Physio-led Pilates Sessions are individually tailored to ensure that you are working at a level appropriate for your ability and delivered by our Chartered and APPI trained Physiotherapist, Gillian O’Kane. Whether you are recovering from injury, have recently had a baby, are recovering from surgery, experiencing pelvic floor issues or are simply looking to improve your strength and fitness; rest assured that you are in safe hands with Gillian as your guide.
