Lorna Gibson
PERSONAL TRAINER | @lornag0705
I have always enjoyed being active and throughout my childhood to my early twenties I was involved in competitive showjumping. As I got older and had a career and young family I tended to dip in and out of exercise, when I was approaching my forties I started to prioritise my health and fitness more, although still working this around a demanding full-time job and 3 children. Ten years ago, I joined Aristos Fitness and found a way of training that really worked for me. I loved the variety of exercise, the expertise of the coaches and the amazing community that I was now part of.
Over 10 years as a member at Aristos I have taken part in team competitions, participated in gym ‘throwdowns’, body transformation challenges and nutrition workshops, group classes and Thrive, all the while learning about strength, fitness, health and nutrition. Having a fairly stressful and busy career, and all the other stresses that life throws at us, I also found that exercising and being part of Aristos has really helped me stay mentally strong, as well as physically. As an older woman I have realised how much being healthy, fit and strong has also helped me cope with ageing and the changes to your body that brings.
Throughout my career my roles have provided me with the opportunity to mentor and develop people, helping them to realise their potential through building their confidence and experience. In 2025, I turned 60, and decided to combine this experience with my interest and passion for health, fitness and wellbeing! I have now completed my Level 3 Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer qualification and I am really excited to be able to have the opportunity to work with clients as a PT and Coach at Aristos, sharing my experience and helping others to achieve their health and fitness goals and be the best version of themselves.
