Aristos COVID-19 Information for all
ID, PT & Goal Review Gym Users
The following information outlines the procedures we have in place to ensure the safety of all our gym users and staff in relation to COVID-19, therefore please take the time to read the following guidance carefully prior to attending the gym.
Background
As we have progressed through the Coronavirus route map to Phase 3, we are delighted to announce that we will finally be able to re-open our doors on Monday 31st August! We cannot wait to see you all again and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support throughout the Coronavirus Lockdown period.
Following the Lockdown period we need to transition from our Aristos At Home program back to full operation whilst ensuring the safety of our members at all times. We therefore plan to re-open our doors with the most extreme measures in place in order to adhere to social distancing recommendations, and gradually reduce these measures over time in line with government recommendations to progress back to full operation.
The following procedures will therefore be in place for all ID, PT and Goal Review sessions from Monday 31st August 2020 until further notice.
ID and PT Session Structure
Sessions will be limited to a maximum of TWELVE members per session.
There will be a 15 minute period between all sessions for sanitising equipment and training areas.
All sessions will have a minimum period of 15 minutes between sessions for the Coach to sanitise the equipment / training areas.
All sessions must be booked in advance via Wodify or through your PT to comply with Test and Protect regulations.
There will be no Pay As You Go users allowed to use the facility at the present time.
We also ask that no spectators, including children, are brought into the gym until further notice.
Before Your Session
We ask that from Friday 9th October, all members and users please wear a facemask to enter and leave the gym for training or an appointment. Facemasks can be removed once in your designated training area or appointment, however please wear a facemask for moving around inside the gym out-with your training area / appointment room.
Our Aristos Coaches will not be wearing face masks or other PPE during your session, as all sessions will be conducted socially distanced. For the safety of all gym users it is also essential that our Coaches are able to verbally communicate effectively in an environment with a lot of background noise.
Coaches will, however, wear a facemask to conduct a quick infrared temperature screen with every member / user upon arrival at the gym. Anyone exhibiting a temperature of 37.8 degrees or above will be denied access to the class and the facility.
Please enter and exit the gym through our shuttered entrance to ensure there is no touching of door handles from gym users.
Please wait outside the shuttered entrance until instructed to enter by the Coach. Please wait a safe distance of 2m from any other member.
Please sanitise your hands when entering and leaving the gym at all times.
The toilet facilities will be available for use, however please try to avoid using the toilet facility if possible. A barrier entry system will be in operation to allow only one user in the toilets / corridor at any one time.
The upstairs mezzanine will also be out of use until further notice.
Please do not bring any bags into the gym with you. Bring only a drink, towel and keys / phone if required.
During Your PT / ID Session
All of our sessions will be conducted with social distancing measures in place.
Please collect a microfiber cloth from the box on the keg at the entrance to the gym. This will be used for cleaning your equipment and training area after use.
We have provided hand sanitiser stations throughout the gym for use during your session. Please feel free to bring your own hand sanitiser if you prefer.
Facemasks can be removed once in your designated training area.
Workouts may initially be limited to dumbells and kettlebells to reduce equipment contact and allow for optimal sanitising procedures.
There will be no sharing of equipment during sessions.
Music will be played at a reduced volume to reduce the risk of droplet transmission through shouting.
We appreciate that some members may still feel uncomfortable training alongside other members at this time. For these members, we can offer, ID, PT and Group programs remotely, therefore please do not feel pressured to return to the Aristos facility until you are ready.
During Your Free Intro or Goal Review Session
All of our consultations and appointments with the Aristos Coaching team will also be conducted socially distanced.
We have a number of different options that we can use for conducting Free Intro appointments and Goal Review Sessions; including in our Consultation Room at a safe distance and with a protective screen in place, the upstairs seating area socially distanced, or on the gym floor when it is not in use.
Please let us know if you would rather book a remote appointment to discuss our program and membership options by emailing info@aristosfitness.co.uk.
After Your Session
Please sanitise all equipment at the end of your session by spraying the sanitiser directly onto the microfiber cloth and wiping equipment / your training area.
Please wear your facemask after your session when leaving your training area and exiting the gym.
Please leave all equipment in your training area and head straight out of the shuttered entrance when instructed to do so by the Coach and without lingering.
Please deposit your microfiber cloth in the basket at the edge of the matted area and sanitise your hands when leaving the gym.
All equipment / training / consultation areas will then be sanitised by the Coach prior to the next member(s) entering.
