Aristos Introduction to Anxiety Workshop
There is huge concern about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health!
There has been an increase in levels of anxiety and mental distress since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Research indicates that nearly half of young adults in the UK feel their wellbeing has been affected, and 40-50% of young people are feeling significantly more anxious.
With shops, pubs, gyms and fitness classes starting to re-open, we anticipate that many of you will be experiencing anxieties about their return. We also know that anxiety affected a large number of people even before COVID-19 existed.
We would therefore like to help! Angie, our Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach, is planning to offer a FREE Introduction to Anxiety Workshop on Tuesday 1st June from 7-8.30pm on Zoom. The workshop will introduce anxiety, have a look at what anxiety actually is, as well as introducing some strategies to help you cope. Attendees can have their cameras on or off for the workshop, and participants can engage as much or as little as they wish during the session.
